Update RE: Shelter in Place

Update:  At approximately 4pm, RCMP responded to reports of a fight between several people on Princess street, possibly involving a firearm. RCMP and Municipal staff immediately enacted the emergency community notification out of caution. This notification included local lockdowns. The RCMP soon located an adult male a short distance away and he was taken into custody. A replica long-barreled firearm,  determined to be an air-soft rifle was seized. There is no ongoing risk to public safety and there will continue to be RCMP presence in the community to investigate.

Roblin Waste Disposal Site - Burn Pit Closure

Please be advised that the burn pit area at the Roblin Waste Disposal Site will be closed until further notice as construction of the new cell gets underway.
